Indigo Alley is a 3-piece Blues Rock band formed in 2006. They play your favourite blues-rock songs from the past five decades. The emphasis is on individual style with very powerful performances from Pat fronting the band on vocals and lead guitar, Tony on bass and vocals and Merv on drums.

Tony plays a Fender American Jazz bass through a Hartke 350 watt amp and Hartke quad box. He Began playing bass in a school band. After school formed a band called "Climax" and played pubs, clubs and weddings in North Queensland. He moved to Perth in 1994 and joined a heavy metal band playing original material. From there he joined a classic rock covers band for a few years before joining Indigo Alley in June, 2007.


Merv is a highly experienced drummer, playing in both Australia and the UK. Previously with Undercover, Through the Minefield, No Standing & London Secret, he joined Indigo Alley to perform the best of Blues Rock. His powerful sound is produced with a Sonor Phonic II kit plus Ufip Natural series cymbals and either a Drumcraft Bronze snare, a Brady Jarrah Block snare

or a Le Soprano Primo Original Maple Block snare.
 


Pat is a powerful, uplifting vocalist and guitarist with a high energy stage presence using a Marshall stack with ESP & Hamer guitars. His first band was MI5 eventually changing their name to Section 8. Other bands include Young Guns who became Jump The Gun and then Postcards From Pakistan. Then he moved on to London to record with Perth band The Furs. The next venture was corporate band work with Generals Of Dance. His last band was an 8 piece ska band Special Brew in which he was lead vocalist & guitarist before taking a short break and then being invited to join Indigo Alley
