High Power Ultrasonics
We offer:
Consulting on the potential of high power ultrasonics for different applications
High power immersible ultrasonic transducer systems suitable for applications such as:
ultrasonic cleaning
 sterilizing
 production of stable emulsions
 dispersion of powders in liquids
 extraction of oils from organics
increased yield and reduced times for a range of chemical processes
High Power Ultrasonic Immersion Transducer Systems
In many applications, particularly ultrasonic cleaning, existing non-ultrasonic tanks or cleaning baths can
be converted into an ultrasonic system by the installation of one or more immersible ultrasonic transducers.
These systems are designed for heavy duty use and may be run continuously.
They are suitable for:
incorporating into production lines
research and development (R&D) into ultrasonic applications:
 pilot plants
 batch trials
Immersible transducers can be retro-fitted into existing tanks, or we can supply a new tank.

The System
An immersible transducer system comprises an ultrasonic generator for each immersible transducer.
The volume of liquid in the tank determines the number of immersible transducer systems required.
System specifications:
Generator outputs:
 Generator signal for transducer
 Relay output from safety sensor
Generator output power:
Continuous - up to 750 watts
Peak - up to 1000 watts
Output frequency: nominal 27 KHz, modulated at 80 - 100 Hz
Power requirements: 240 volts AC, 50Hz
Custom designed transducers and assemblies:
We are able to offer several types of custom designed ultrasonic
transducers to meet specific requirements.
 Diaphragm plates
 Immersible assemblies in different shapes
 Resonators
 Clamp-on style transducers
